Chastiser Llandervaltz, Purgatory's Embodiment of the modern era.

This man was driven to a rather insane cause when he was born with the disease of Progeria, an inborn disease which causes rapid aging that results to death when the victim reaches a certain age between 15-30. Llandervaltz was later coincidentally chosen as the next Chastiser when the previous one was murdered.

As Chastiser, he wields the legendary symbol of the Order of Parousia, Poenitentia, a staff that grants power to wield the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. He wore the symbol on his back.

He gained magical abilities upon wearing this symbol, one of them was the shroud of Purgatory, an invisible shield that vaporizes anything around a close proximity around him with the heat of a thousand flames of punishment. In addition to this, he is able to use the powers of Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death as the openings of Poenitentia behind him reveal that they are portals which summon the said aspects.

This madman set off with the resources of the Apocalyptic Cult to 'purify' as many people of the world as possible, subjecting each to several torture processes until they leave as a braindead shell of their former selves, the Cripples, which he believes are merely shells of the purified souls that he has saved. However, it is revealed that deep in his subconscious is a longing to kill, kill because he found it unfair that he was cheated of his life.
